Il progetto si inserisce in un percorso strategico di sviluppo aziendale che ha l'obiettivo produttivo di creare un nuovo stabilimento. In particolare, il progetto prevede l'acquisto e l'installazione di macchinari e impianti tecnologicamente all'avanguardia che consentiranno a Costam Srl di ampliare la capacità produttiva e aumentare la propria posizione competitiva sul mercato di riferimento. Tra gli investimenti previsti vi sono: - acquisto di macchinari innovativi per l'automazione e l'efficientamento della produzione; - integrazione dei macchinari con interfacce hardware e sistemi software; - attivazione di servizi specialistici e di consulenza tecnologica e informatica relativi alla riorganizzazione aziendale, con particolare riferimento alla logistica del nuovo capannone, agli aspetti elettrici ed elettronici dello stesso e all'implementazione di un sistema software personalizzato per la gestione della produzione. Più in dettaglio, il progetto riguarda l'adozione di una soluzione innovativa per l'automazione intelligente consistente in un'Isola Robotizzata dotata di robot antropomorfo, che sarà impiegata per la movimentazione meccanica di elementi metallici, operazione che attualmente viene eseguita manualmente. L'obiettivo è dunque quello di assicurare all'azienda la capacità e la flessibilità produttiva richieste dal mercato europeo della meccanica di alta specializzazione nel quale è inserita, rendendola competitiva e incrementandone il fatturato. Costam Srl sarà così in grado di coprire con la propria offerta l'intero ciclo produttivo e di acquisire commesse anche altamente complesse, che solo pochi operatori sul mercato sono in grado di soddisfare.

A robotic arm has recently been purchased. The FANUC R1000iA is interlocked with a MORI SEIKI DURAVERTICAL 50/80 working center.
Costam established the network " SEED Group" - Ecologic Sed Electronic Devices - consists of 7 companies operating in diversified sectors and synergistics between each other, that add up to 300 employees and more than 30 million Euros of turnover.
The network aims to increase its competitiveness and capacity for innovation through a program of exchange of information, with the aim to open up new fields and new markets, especially foreign markets, streamlining and reducing costs.
